Day One: Dear Ex-boyfriend

Dear ex-boyfriends,

There hasn’t been too many of you. And with a lack in numbers comes a lack of significance. A special sarcastic thanks the boys who helped to make my high school love life so incredibly awkward. I’m sorry to whomever i led on, sorry if I allowed you to build something up that truly wasn’t there. I’m sorry you didn’t get enough time or a girl who was really interested. I’m sorry you didn’t ‘get any’.

But I want to thank you. Thank you for being so wrong for me, so unimportant. Thank you for making it incredibly easy to know when I have finally found someone, someone who is worth fighting for everyday for the rest of my life.
